About Mississippi Pro Roofing

While our company itself may be relatively new, Mississippi Pro Roofing is backed by almost half a decade of construction experience and over 13 years of roofing experience. Jim Meng, our founder, has devoted his entire career to the residential and commercial construction industry. In his early days, he always had a knack for building and architecture and knew that’s where his path would take him.

 

In 1976, he took his first step in entrepreneurship with Meng Plumbing and Air Conditioning. By the time he sold the company in 1996, it had 40 employees and over $4 million in yearly revenue. He was then offered a vice-president role with Scenic Homes in 1996 and under his leadership their housing sales grew from 25 to 1,474 annually. By 2006, the company was doing $272 million in revenue and was ranked #54 in the nation (#4 in Atlanta).

He founded InVision Construction, LLC in 2010 with the goal of bringing his client’s visions to reality while providing the highest level of service and professionalism. Over 13 years and 1300 projects later, Invision has become known as one of the top construction companies in Mississippi and has been featured in best-selling architectural books and international magazines across the globe.

 

Capitalizing on the success of Invision, Jim started Mississippi Pro Design Center in 2015. It was created with the idea of being a one-stop shop for all things flooring while providing a white-glove customer experience. Fast forward to today, Mississippi Pro Design Center now has over 6,000 square feet of showrooms across two locations. The product lines have expanded into windows, doors, cabinetry, countertops and much more – making Mississippi Pro Design a true one-stop shop for all things remodeling and design.

 

Due to the rapidly increasing roofing jobs that were being completed under InVision Construction, Jim founded his most recent venture -- Mississippi Pro Roofing -- in 2022. While the company itself may be new, we aren’t new to roofing and certainly aren’t new to construction. On top of that, we are founded on the same customer-centric principles that have made Jim a force in the industry. Our goal is to become the #1 commercial and residential roofing company in Central Mississippi and our commitment to you is the same elite customer experience and quality materials you’ve grown accustomed to with Invision and Mississippi Pro Design.
